Methodology

Redline Report studies markets through the interaction of cycles, fundamentals and expectations. We start with primary data and financial evidence, develop an independent thesis, and focus on situations where market expectations may diverge from underlying fundamentals.

Evidence hierarchy

  • Tier 1: regulatory filings, audited financial statements, official statistics and primary market data.
  • Tier 2: earnings calls, company disclosures, industry data and official policy documents.
  • Tier 3: credible third-party research, investigative reporting and alternative datasets.
  • Not evidence: unsupported narratives, promotional claims or data without a traceable source.

HOW WE RESEARCH

  • We separate facts from interpretation explicitly.
  • We distinguish structural trends from cyclical movements.
  • We compare market expectations with underlying fundamentals.
  • We define what evidence would invalidate the thesis.

What we examine

  • Cycles: macroeconomic, credit, commodity and industry cycles.
  • Companies: business models, financial quality, capital allocation and governance.
  • Industries: supply, demand, capacity, cost curves and competitive structure.
  • Markets: valuation, positioning, expectations and potential mispricing.

What we do not do

  • No insider information or MNPI.
  • No personalized investment advice.
  • No price targets presented as certainty.
  • No claims of predictive certainty or guaranteed market outcomes.
